Awaken to screen at the West End Film Festival

The West End Film Festival's (WEFF) misson is to showcase the efforts of Australian filmmakers and bring short films to one of Australia's most vibrant communities, Brisbane's West End

The West End Film Festival (WEFF) is a national short film competition with films being judged by a panel of industry professionals and West End community representatives. WEFF welcomes first time filmmakers and encourages Aboriginal, queer, political, punk, experimental and creative filmmakers to enter their works.

The festival's awards ceremony and film screening event will take place on the 28th March 2010. This night will feature, three screening sessions of the festival's best films as well as an awards ceremony with cash prizes being presented to the winning filmmakers.
