Plugin Help

For further information on learning and using the plugin you can access the on-line help. It contains complete tutorials and detailed reference information on the plugin. Once you've installed the plugin you can access the this help in one of two ways.

From the Start bar

Once you've installed the plugin In the task bar click on Start | Programs | Illustrate! | Illustrate! Help.

From within 3DS MAX

  1. Click on the Illustrate! menu item in the main menu.
  2. If the Rendering Wizard is displayed click on Cancel.
  3. The Illustrate! Window will be displayed. In the main toolbar of the Illustrate! Window click on the Help button(? icon).

If you have purchased and registered the plugin you can receive additional technical and creative support. See below.

Technical Support

Refer to Plugin Help for more information on getting online help directly from within the plugin before consulting technical support.

Technical support is available free to all registered users. Please register your software in order to receive this support.

There is no charge for this service, however before calling, please be sure to have the following information ready:

  1. The name of the product you are having trouble with.
  2. The serial number of the product.
  3. Your customer ID (if you have called before).

It is also helpful if you are at your machine with 3DS MAX running when you call.

Creative Support

This includes general questions regarding the plugin as well as technique and methodology questions. The "What's the best way to do this?" or "How to achieve this particular style?" kind of questions, or questions concerning the best way to a certain look from the plugin falls into this category.

These types of questions are handled strictly through email. Our technical support staff can be reached at support@digimation.com. There is no charge for this service and most questions are answered within a 24 hour period.
